About

Matthew is a photographer and graphic artist living in Houston, TX.  His interest in photography began in the wet darkroom while taking several high school and college black and white photography courses.  After moving to Florida Matthew was invited to a shuttle launch at Cape Canaveral for which he purchased his first telephoto lens to see the Columbia lift off.  It was not long after that he realized with this lens he he now had the tools necessary to pursue an age old dream of shooting wildlife photography fueled by stacks of National Geographic magazines he read through at his parents house growing up. One gloomy morning on Memorial Day 2004 Matthew set off to Wakodahatchee Wetlands in Boynton Beach, FL where it all began.

Over years Matthew has traveled throughout the United States photographing the wildlife and landscapes which have come to inspire him.  This site contains a selection of his photography presented above all for your enjoyment. Prints are available for order online, in addition to several art shows scheduled throughout the year.  If you’re interested in purchasing images for stock, a larger library of images is available at competitive rates.  Please get in touch for more information through the contact link.
